Cannabis Dispensary Near Maplewood, Arden Hills, and New Brighton, MN

If you live in Maplewood, Arden Hills, or New Brighton and you've been searching for a dispensary nearby, there's a good chance Frostbite in Roseville has come up in results — and there's a reason for that. All three of those communities sit within a few miles of our location at 2218 County Rd D West Suite 200, and the drive is straightforward enough that stopping in fits into a regular errand run without any real detour.
This post covers what to expect from the trip from each of those areas, what's currently on our menu, and why more north metro customers have been making Frostbite their regular stop.

Maplewood sits just east of St. Paul, and Roseville is its immediate western neighbor — the two communities essentially share a border along White Bear Avenue and the 35E corridor. From most of Maplewood, Frostbite is a 10 to 15-minute drive depending on where you're starting. Taking County Road B west or cutting through on Larpenteur gets you there without touching the freeway at all if you prefer surface streets. If you're coming from the northern edge of Maplewood near Highway 36, you're even closer — the dispensary is right off that corridor.
Maplewood doesn't currently have a licensed recreational cannabis retailer within its city limits, which means Roseville has become the natural go-to for a lot of residents in that area. We see a meaningful number of Maplewood customers regularly, and it's worth knowing that our delivery zone also covers parts of the east metro on our Wednesday through Saturday schedule — so for routine restocking, you don't always have to make the drive.
Getting to Frostbite From Arden Hills
Arden Hills is just north of Roseville along the I-35W corridor, which makes us one of the closest licensed dispensaries to that community. From most of Arden Hills, you're looking at 10 minutes or less — County Road E or Snelling Avenue gets you down to our location without any complicated navigation. If you're near the Rice Creek area or coming from the southern part of Arden Hills near the old Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant site, you're practically already in Roseville.
Arden Hills is primarily a residential community with significant green space and not a lot of retail density, which means cannabis shopping options are limited without a trip. We've built out a menu that's worth the short drive — curated flower from Minnesota-licensed producers, a full edibles selection, vapes, prerolls, and concentrates. If you check the menu at frostbitedispensary.com before you come, you can shop online and have your order ready at the counter, which cuts the in-store time down significantly.
Getting to Frostbite From New Brighton
New Brighton borders Roseville to the north, separated roughly by County Road D — which is, not coincidentally, the road our dispensary is on. From New Brighton, you're often talking about a 5 to 10-minute drive at most. Silver Lake Road, Old Highway 8, and Long Lake Road all connect the two communities easily. If you're coming from the western side of New Brighton near the New Brighton Family Aquatic Center, you might be closer to us than you are to most of New Brighton's own commercial retail.
We get a lot of regular customers from New Brighton, and they tend to appreciate the combination of a short drive, consistent inventory, and staff who actually know the products. That last part matters more than it sounds — being able to walk in and describe what you're looking for and get a genuine recommendation (rather than just being handed whatever's on sale) changes the experience substantially.
What's on the Shelf Right Now
Our menu rotates, but here's a snapshot of what we've been stocking consistently for north metro customers:
Flower: We carry a range of Minnesota-grown options from producers like Unbound and Bud Doctor, with eighths typically ranging from $40 to $55. If you care about terpene profiles and want to know what you're actually getting rather than just the THC percentage, our staff can walk you through what's in right now.
Edibles: We carry a deep edibles selection across multiple formats — gummies from Souree, D'Ope, You Betcha, and SKAL; chocolates; rosin-based options; and cannabis beverages from Oliphant Brewing, Looner, and Crested River. Low-dose options starting at 5mg are well-represented for people who prefer a milder experience.
Vapes and Prerolls: Disposables and cartridges from Minny Grown, NorthPark Cannabis Co., Grasslandz, and DIZGO. Prerolls from Unbound and Dogwalkers in both single and multi-pack formats.
Extracts: Live resin, wax, and other concentrate formats for experienced consumers. Ask at the counter for what's current — this category turns over the fastest.
Delivery to Maplewood, Arden Hills, and New Brighton
We deliver Wednesday through Saturday with two windows: 11am to 1pm (order by 10:30am) and 1pm to 3pm (order by 12:30pm). Delivery requires a $100 minimum order, and the fee is waived if you're over $200. A $5 flat fee applies within a 5-mile radius and $10 within 10 miles — which covers most of Maplewood, Arden Hills, and New Brighton from our Roseville location.
